Oh, this might be a good time to convince them to spend some taxpayer's money on photo gear.

I refuse touse my D200 for my photo taking duties at work. That's what the taxpayer sponsored D70 is for.

So is the haze now worse than what it was in 1997?

I'd much rather have cold-hot-cold weather (like what Rhonda described & what we're also experiencing in Sydney) than the horrible haze! Evil or Very Mad Gave me asthma only.

today looks pretty okay...

in 1997, when i was working at the old Woodlands Checkpoint, a whole lot of us were dumbfounded when after the morning shift, we went to the lockers, came out and saw a cloud of smog move in from across the causeway...

we were planning to go have something to eat across the border but after that, without a word, we just went home Razz

this year's isn't anywhere near as bad as that year... but the max was around 150 this year... Neutral
